We offer a range of weekly Adult and Family Kitchen Dancing classes. All are fun, friendly and fitness focused but differ slightly according to the participants. Please read on to find out more!
Kitchen Dancing - Adult classes
80s & 90s music - Low to high impact
Every Wednesday at Beeston Methodist Church, Chilwell Road, Beeston, NG9 1EH from 8-8.45 pm. £5 per adult.
60s, 70s & 80s music - Low to medium impact
Every Wednesday at the Dance Studio in The Pearson Centre, 2 Nuart Rd, Beeston, Nottingham NG9 2NH from 9.45-10.30 am. £5 per adult.
Feelgood Fridays - Low to medium impact
Monthly Friday class at the Dance Studio in The Pearson Centre, 2 Nuart Rd, Beeston, Nottingham NG9 2NH from 6.30-7.15pm. £5 per adult.
Kitchen Dancing - Family classes
Family Boogie - Adults & Children 4+yrs - Low to medium impact
Every Tuesday at Tesco Toton Community Room from 6.10-6.55pm. £5 in total per adult and child and £2 for additional siblings.
Teenyboppers - Adults & Children toddlers to 4yrs - Low impact
Every Wednesday at the Dance Studio in The Pearson Centre, 2 Nuart Rd, Beeston, Nottingham NG9 2NH from 10.45-11.30 am. £5 per child and £2.50 per additional sibling.
The important part – Health, Safety and licenses
Each session is covered by public liability insurance to the value of £5,000,000 and the music aspect with a PRS for Music licence. I am a qualified Group Fitness Instructor and hold a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instruction. I also have a current Emergency First Aid qualification and enhanced DBS certificate. A completed Physical Activity Readiness questionnaire will be required prior to the first class. Please note flashing disco lights will be in use throughout the class.
What to wear
Please wear comfortable clothing to dance in and trainers/plimsolls or jazz shoes if you own a pair. Bottled water is available for purchase.
